Seed Science & Germination

๐ŸŒฑ Seed Science & Germination

In this First Acre STEM class, students explore how seeds grow into plants and what conditions are needed for successful germination.

Through hands-on activities, students examine different types of seeds, plant them in pots, and begin observing the early stages of plant growth. As they track their seedlings over time, students learn how scientists observe, measure, and record plant development.

This class introduces the fundamentals of plant biology while encouraging curiosity, observation, and scientific thinking in a real farm environment.
