In this First Acre STEM class, students explore the hidden world beneath our feet and discover why soil is one of the most important parts of a healthy ecosystem.

Students learn how soil supports plant growth and how life underground helps keep soil healthy and fertile. Through hands-on observation and simple experiments, students examine soil up close and discover how organisms and natural processes work together to build strong, living soil.
