March 3 – Soil Science & Life Underground
Explore what’s happening beneath our feet as we dig into soil layers, worms, and tiny organisms.
March 24 – Seed Science & Germination
Discover how seeds come to life as we plant, observe, and track sprouting.
April 1 – Water Systems & Plant Needs
Learn how water moves through plants and build a mini irrigation system.
April 21 – Ecosystems & Food Chains
Explore how plants, animals, and insects work together on the farm.
May 5 – Pollination & Plant Reproduction
Learn how bees and other pollinators help flowers grow and create new life.
May 26 – Sustainable Growing & Harvesting
Discover composting, harvesting, and earth-friendly gardening.
Farm Woodworking
March 4 – Habitat Builders
Build a simple shelter for birds and pollinators.
March 25 – Garden Helpers
Create wooden signs, markers, or racks to support growing plants.
April 2 – Creativity & Design
Design and decorate a creative wood project inspired by the farm.
May 6 – Outdoor Living Projects
Build a stool, maze, bug hotel, or another functional outdoor piece.
May 27 – Legacy & Keepsakes
Create a special keepsake to remember your time at First Acre.
